Today was a busy day of ...
nothing. Well not quite but we didn't have any appointments or sightseeing planned so it was a completely free day. After breakfast we took the girls to the play room for awhile. Initially we had the whole room to ourselves. The girls had a great time playing with the "house".
They walked through Qing Ping Market again, but along a different street that was just to the west of the one that we went down last time. It was not as interesting, and the road was busier. When they reached Shangxia Jiu Pedestrian Shopping Street, they turned left (west) at the Holiday Inn to see the section that we did not see the last time. There was nothing really new. There were more trendy clothing and shoe stores, with some restaurants intermixed (including another McDonalds). The pedestrian-only street eventually ended, turning into a regular street with narrow sidewalks. Retracing their steps, the made their way past the Holiday Inn again. Dad took the following picture of a typical scene along this street.
When they came back, Mom and Kathryn were awake, but it was time for Kimberly's afternoon nap. We have got to get the girls napping at the same time! Mom and Kathryn went shopping again while Kimberly slept. I think that we are finally shopped out and have everything that we plan on bringing home.
Tomorrow we have Kimberly's medical exam which is required for her US entry visa. She will also get her Visa photos.
