We're almost DTC!

We received our 171-H form on Saturday, June 10th. Just 3 weeks after we were fingerprinted. Our agency received their copy on Monday, June 12th. They copied and notarized it to prepare it for our dossier. To speed up the processing, I drove to Olympia on Tuesday, June 13th to have the notarized copy verified and then returned to our agency that afternoon. They fedexed the form to the Chinese consulate in San Francisco for authentication. I received an email this afternoon saying they received our form back and our dossier is now complete. We will be in the next batch of dossiers that they mail to China which will be either this Friday, June 23 or next Friday, June 30th. Either way we will be DTC this month! Yipee!!

Once our dossier is sent to China we will wait to hear what our log-in date is as this is the date that determines which batch of referrals we will be in. The official waiting for referral is about to start.
